01. Measuring and trimming.

The tools you need in this step are: a brush, a tape measure, a pencil, a cutter, a rule and a square.
After unrolling the sandstone sheet, brush the surface in order to remove the grains of sand left. Put and keep them aside.
First of all you have to finish the borders by means of a rule and a square, marking their cutting profil. Then use the cutter.
You can use the material in its original format or cut it into any wideness and shape.

02. Installation

The tools you need in this step are: a float, an industrial air dryer, a roller, adhesive for coverings.
Apply a uniform layer of adhesive to the lying surface.
Then apply the sheet carefully, making it adhere completely and homogeneously.
In case of angles or curved surfaces, use an industrial hot air dryer to enhance the softness and the adherence of the material.
Then use a roller (or a gum trowel) to get rid of any air bubbles and excess glue.
Moreover, if electric boxes or other obstacles are present, cutting the sheet by a cutter will be sufficient to get really precise results.

03. Finishings

The tools you need in this step are: a surface consolidator, a roller, a spatula, any plaster for grout spaces.
First of all you have to dilute the consolidator by adding 4 parts of water.
Then make a compound by mixing the sand previously put aside and a little amount of consolidator. You can correct any imperfection by buffering the surface and finish the approaches among the sheets using a piece of material soaked in the compound.
In case of laying with grout spacing, use a suitable filling plaster.
By means of a roller, treat all the surface with the protective consolidator. This is necessary to the complete adjustment of the ground.
If laying in wet rooms such as baths or wellness areas, wait about 4 hours from the laying of the consolidator and then apply a specific waterproofing product.
